Guided Ice Fishing Trips Near Traverse City
Storm Hawk Sport Fishing is now booking guided ice fishing trips for the 2027 season on Northern Michigan lakes within about an hour of Traverse City. We fish a variety of lakes throughout the winter, targeting perch and walleye, along with pike, trout, bass and bluegill. Where we fish depends on current ice conditions, recent fishing reports and where the fish are biting.
Our guided ice fishing season generally runs from around the first of the year through mid-March, depending on ice conditions. We provide the equipment and knowledge you need for a day on the ice, whether you’re an experienced fisherman or trying ice fishing for the first time. Ice fishing is a favorite winter pastime for a lot of people around Northern Michigan. Come out and enjoy a day on the ice with us this winter!

We fish a variety of lakes throughout the Traverse City area and Northern Michigan. The lake we choose depends on current ice conditions, recent fishing reports, weather, and where we believe we’ll have the best opportunity to find fish.
