Ice Fishing Season

We are expecting a little heat wave at the moment. I say that loosely since we just broke out of single digits for two weeks so 40 degrees and sunny feels like Bahama Weather! With the weather break it has us thinking about Traverse City summer fun in the sun! Traverse City is such a great destination for the whole family, there is something for everyone! We have been booking fishing charters since last summer for this upcoming season so some dates are definitely filling in. Jumbo Perch!
Whitney was recently out with us on a guided ice fishing trip. First time on the ice and she was a pro! This perch measured in at over 14″ which is a “master angler” pretty awesome fish!
2020 Salmon Classic 3rd place
It was an odd salmon classic this year. All in all we ended with a 3rd place finish! The team also landed the biggest trout of the weekend!
2020 Traverse City Womens Salmon Classic 1st place
The Traverse City Womens Salmon Classic is in the books and I am sure proud of the lady’s! They did a great job and took home the WIN! It was a close first place win with team True Blue with captain Luke and ladies having a great cooler! The Womens Salmon Classic is always a event me and the girls always look forward too!
Fishing Fun!
Take a look at this giant! This GIANT King Salmon took us for a boat ride as it peeled out over 500 feet of line! The fishing has been fantastic in Traverse City, the Trout have been happy, and some giant salmon are showing up as well! Give us a call to get out and chase after your summer highlight!

Great Fishing Continues
The great fishing continues here in Traverse City. It seems the fish have gone a little deeper since the big North West blow we had earlier this week. But that has NOT stopped the great fishing. Had a blast this morning with the Glasgow family. The fish were snappy, we also had incredible weather. Last but not least the kids did a fantastic job at cranking in some nice Traverse City Lake Trout! We are really starting to fill our calendar in now. Fishing is RED HOT
Fishing is RED HOT in Traverse city right now! We are experiencing some of the best Lake Trout fishing from anywhere in the world. There have been big numbers of trout caught on all of our trips. It gets even better! We have also been getting a few Steelhead in the mix! The Salmon numbers are sparse as expected this time of year. However that should be changing her within the next few weeks we will start seeing some salmon showing up. Hard to believe it is almost July but the dog days of summer are almost here! The Storm Hawk will be ready for action! Give us a call as we are starting to book up the rest of our remaining openings.
