Mixed bag a few Kings, and a limit of lake trout. Started in the hole nothing going on down there. Made a run north to fished the West side of the bay and had good success. Meat Rigs on divers Big Jon Spoon on riggers and plugs on coppers. 150,250,225 coppers took bites on a mix of salmon and trout. Blue, white seemed to be the best colors of the day by far!

A fun morning on the water today! Hooked into a big king first thing fought that fish for some time, and landed it after a team effort! Ended the morning on a box full of Lake Trout!

Today it wasn’t as much of charter fishing as more it is fishing some days. We had a slower day on the water today which has not been the norm all season. When I say slow I am just spoiled we ended up with 6 trout in the boat and loosing a handful, first trip without the limit in some time now. But all that said we had a fantastic time with a lot of wind and rough water to start, to the finish where there wasn’t a ripple on the water. Nicole caught this dandy trout to end the trip!
I had the pleasure of taking the cutest fisherwomen out on the bay this morning! Plus she can catch fish! We had a lot of fun and caught a bunch of fish!
Had a lot of fun with Jessica and Sam today. It was windy and rough but we made the best of it, caught a bunch of trout and let some go!
More light line success! We fished some different water on the hunt for some King Salmon with no luck. After we made the change to trout we had action in short order. The boys loved the light rod set up!
We had a misty start to the trip. But with lots of action its easy to forget about the moisture in the air!! The boys can attest to that in this photo!! Doesn’t look like they were bothered in the slightest!
We experienced 18 trout in 2 hours of fishing this afternoon. Pretty amazing fishing Traverse City is providing us with!!!
Two person charter today. We had a nice laid back fun trip with beautiful weather, did some trolling, jigging, and hunting! Had the guys each man a down rigger while we fished for trout had one spinning rod with 10 pound test braid with a spoon the other was a traditional trolling set up with cow bells. We ended up not setting the cowbell rod and just ran the light rod for pure fun!!! We caught a bunch on the clean spoon and when we got a bite I was able to put the boat in neutral and really fight the fish it was pretty awesome!

Caught this nice Steelhead today on a free slider orange and black Pro King spoon, he was a pleasant surprise!
