Eli killed it today. He landed every fish today, granted we only landed 5 but he landed every one he got his hands on! We had a few swing and misses today but that is part of the fun! Meat rigs took control of the bite today for us, it sure was a beautiful day!

Had a big evening charter.. Took me two passes in the hole to figure out what they really wanted, but once I found two combos they wanted it was game on. Below is a picture of Cody with the biggest fish of the night. Roughly 24 pounds that slammed a Big Weenie Meat rig on the dipsey diver.

Had a two boat trip last night with a bachelor party. We had a great time from the guys hunkering down with a huge rain front laughing at me while I set the rods.. To the pay back off a fish biting while it poured rain on them! We caught a handful of kings wasn’t as good fishing as we have been experiencing but still plenty good!

Salmon fishing continues to be good in Traverse City. Primarily been fishing the hole, in downtown West Bay! Meat Rigs have been top producer for me in the last few trips it seems. Big Weenie Brand’s “Jack Hammer UV” has been the hottest set up!

Epic Traverse City Salmon Fishing:
We had epic Salmon fishing today. We were working salmon to the boat all morning, start to finish we had Salmon on the line. Towards the end of the trip we ended with a bang! Hooked up one more time and it was a battle, till the net scoop. This monster King Salmon weighed in at just over 30 pounds. Biggest salmon of my charter fishing career the guys were just a little excited! Give me a call if you want to get out and enjoy some incredible Traverse City Salmon fishing!

The Salmon fishing is great in August in Traverse City, Michigan. I was happy to have a day off from a charter but still chose to go fishing! What else am I supposed to do? Took my girl friend and her sister for a nice Sunday morning fishing operation. I think lady luck played a major factor in our success this morning! We hooked into 9 King Salmon and landed 6 of them in a short 2.5 hour trip. We went in to clean fish get breakfast and go enjoy the beautiful day!
We had a great afternoon of fishing. Caught a bunch of Lake trout, even had the surprise of a few BIG King Salmon. The girls did a great job and didn’t loose many fish at all!!

Had a rough and tough crew today! We just needed to catch a bunch of fish so we went trout fishing! The boys are all team mates on a travel hockey team in southern Michigan. They were pros as we did not loose many fish when they started they finished the job! Low divers with flasher flys, and downriggers tracing bottom in 120 did all the work besides a few 450 copper bites with a spoon. Fishing is awesome call to get in on the action!

Afternoon high sun fantastic fishing! We piled the trout in the boat today, fishing in Traverse City continues to be amazing. In the conditions we saw today usually makes for tough fishing. The fish gods had other plans for us thankfully! Another limit catch another happy crew!

Went on a mission just for the King of the lake. The mighty King Salmon, we had great success. We landed this brute with in 30 minutes of set up.
